Ordered 1 pound of Yaupon from Mountain Rose Herbs almost a month ago. No word of if it was shipped, or when. Nothing. Trying to reach a human on the phone isn't happening. I sent a message to their FB page. They knew nothing. they responded but didnt know about my shipment. Told me to call them. So i did. Was on hold for two hours then it went dead. Went to their website to see if i could get a chat human. The response said send them an email. I said "NO. Im not sending an email. I have been waiting almost a month for my package and it hasn't arrived or shipped. I want to know where it is." So i get a woman named maria after being 4th in line on the chat thing. She tracks my order. She says it shipped on the 8th dec. A week after i ordered it, it ships. I haven't received it. I tell her they shouldnt charge such exorbitant prices on shipping if they cant ship on time. She tells me they will refund my shipping but its a partial refund or some kind of southern fried triple talk. In the time i have been waiting mountain rose herbs pissed me off so much that i have literally made my own Yaupon farm. Look for the website to launch soon. Seaislandnatives.com yeah. thats the positive side to the story. Mountain Rose Herbs seems to be blaming everything on the pandemic. But if they are getting so many orders like they say, they are getting rich. Why not employ someone who lost their job due to the pandemic? Why not rent a larger space to hold more people to handle the orders. You lost me as a customer. What happened to answering the phone? What happened to humans? they buy your products you know? You might want to consider them sometimes, you remember - people. I don't know what your mission statement is, but right now it seems like its Mission Impossible. jeeezzzz.
I am so very disappointed in my latest experience. I have been a customer for some time, and was always satisfied. Recently, I placed an order. I got a call the same day informing me that they had internally linked my account to one that they suspected of fraud, (with a very similar name to mine) and were cancelling my order and deleting my account. Permanently. I explained to them that I was in no way linked to this other person, never had been, either in shipping or payment or ordering. There is nothing whatsoever to substantiate their suspicions. The order taker understood me perfectly, and she said she spoke to her director, who refused to reverse the decision. Not only is this wrong and insulting, but if a company is so unable to distinguish something like that, and be so arbitrary in their application of credit rules, they can damage your credit rating easily. I am beyond disappointed, but also would be very leery of any company who can't manage their data better, and is unwilling to listen and repair their mistake. Buyer Beware here. You replied saying your decision was to do with a previous issue. You NEVER had an issue with me. EVER. You made an internal error and are trying to defend a poor decision.

I have been buying herbs from Mountain Rose Herbs and spices for about a year and a half and they have been wonderful about fulfilling orders, and the quality and freshness of the herbs and the spices.
One time I had a problem with a package that got moisture in the box and the herbs were damaged, their customer service and quality people were on top of things and attended to the issue right away.
I haven't bought any of the oils or teas, but maybe in the future.

I love the array of products available, the wealth of knowledge (which they share readily) and the aesthetic of the site, the packaging, printed material - just all of it is top notch.
My products arrived in a timely manner, packed well, and I love them! I will definitely be ordering again!
Great company. The Love tea is divine. We also enjoy Quiet Child, Happy Tummy, Mint, Earl Grey... The spices are excellent too, always fresh and potent.
